Endangered Species Day!!!

This post is about "endangered species day" that is celebrated on May 20 of every year. 32 species that they live in Chile are in critical danger, the numbers are lapidary. Almost 17 thousand species are in danger of disappearing and approximately 800 already have made it, according to the International Union for the Conservation of the Nature, published in his formless 2009, where in addition it informs that in our country there are 141 threatened species, of which 17 animals and 15 plants are on the verge of becoming extinct.

In the report there appear 141 species that are in risk of getting lost and that they live in Chile (you change of endemic them), of which 32 are low Critical Danger, " the category of major threat. Later he is still a deceased "

It is a question in general of plants and animals of Juan's Fernandez archipelago, between them his beautiful colibri and the "rayadito de más afuera", though also there are birds of other zones of the country as the boreal zarapito, mammals as the chinchilla, the octodon (Isla Mocha) and Darwin's fox and several frogs and endemic toads of the north, center and south of the country.

But they are not the only ones. As it parts with the report, of the total of species threatened in Chile 21 are mammalian, 32 are birds, one is a reptile, 21 are amphibious, 18 are fish, eight are other invertebrates and 40 are plants. If it is removed by level of threat, there are 17 species of animals and 15 of plants in critical danger, 21 species of animals and four of plants in danger and 63 species of animals and 21 of plants in vulnerable condition. He adds, besides the fact that of 17 mammals, 11 birds and 29 endemic amphibians of the country there are five, three and 12 species, respectively, under danger of disappearing, but there are policies of intervention.

The red list indicates that this one is a "general look to what it happens to all the forms of life in the Earth", since the number of species on the verge of extinction can be major, since the study only has analyzed 2,7 per cent of 1,8 million known species.
